Job Overview & Requirements
IDeaS Knowledge Management team is on a mission to create the perfect learning solution that supports our clients’ performance in IDeaS software-as-a-service products. There has never been a better time in the world of learning and development for us to create learning solutions that precisely target our clients’ moment of learning need. We are integrating analytics in our learning solutions that allows us new opportunities for measuring and evaluating the efficacy of our learning design.

We are looking for a talented team member who will work on this research project to determine if our data can prove a relationship between engaged learners and high performing hotels.  join existing data in a new JSON data format called experience API or xAPI within other datasets, to allow for analysis to be run on the data. The goal of this work is to give us insights into the impact of our learning support on the revenue of our clients, as well as the real time effect of training on our users.

This position is a great opportunity to learn and experience enterprise tools and see the effect of training in a multi-department collaborative project.

For this role, you will have the opportunity to…
• Join existing data in a new JSON data format called experience API or xAPI within other datasets, to allow for analysis to be run on the data.
• Automate ETL processes
• Help identify other useful signals that might be leverage to make improvements or to support the success of our learning in the marketplace.
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Do you qualify? You must have…
• Planned degree in data science, statistics, or general business or similar (undergraduate or graduate)
• Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate degree in targeted degree
• Experience and or coursework in Data Science
• Experience and or coursework in Statistics
• Experience and or coursework in Programming focusing on transforming data automatically
• Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented and extreme accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 3.0 or above GPA

Preferences for this role include…
• Export/Transform/Load (ETL) automation experience
