Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the acceptable use of Integrated Decisions and Systems (‘IDeaS’ – A SAS Company) Revenue Solutions Software Products (the “Software”). By using the Software, you agree to abide by this policy.

Acceptable Use

• Authorized Use: The Software is licensed for use solely by the authorized user(s) in accordance with the terms of the applicable agreement.
• Prohibited Activities: Restrictions on use of Software are organized based on the kinds of restrictions. You may not:
  • Engage in illegal or unauthorized activities:
    • Use the Software in any manner that is not in accordance with applicable international, national, state or local laws and regulations governing, among others, data privacy, artificial intelligence or algorithmic decision-making;
    • Use the Software in a manner that infringes upon the rights of others (including privacy and IP rights);
    • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Software.;
    • Distribute, sublicense, or resell the Software; or
    • Otherwise use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Disrupt controls or availability of the Software:
    • Access or attempt to access data or systems associated with the Software without proper authorization;
    • Attempt to circumvent or bypass any security measures of the Software;
    • Share accounts or passwords associated with the Software in an unauthorized manner or with unauthorized individuals; or
    • Otherwise attempt to interference with the proper working of the Software.
  • Use the Software without sufficient transparency:
    • Misleadingly present information generated by the Software as human-generated where it is not; or
    • Use the Software in a manner reasonably calculated to deceive users into thinking they are communicating with a person if they are not.

Specific Restrictions

• Automation and Bots: The use of bots, scripts, or other automated methods to interact with the Software is strictly prohibited. This is because bots or automation tools can overwhelm servers, scrape data excessively, or disrupt the intended functionality of the software. Automating tasks through the UI can bypass rate limits and other usage restrictions designed to protect the performance of our solutions and disrupt the user experience of many users.
• Data Extraction and Reporting: While you may use the Software to generate reports and extract data for your internal use, you may not utilize any third-party tools or services to extract data in bulk or for commercial purposes. The tools provided in the product, for example Scheduled Reports or Data Extraction must not be used to provide data to third parties without explicit approval from IDeaS.

Monitoring and Enforcement

We reserve the right to monitor usage of the Software and to take appropriate action, including terminating your access or removing users or reports set-up to support automation or delivery of data to third party entities (e.g., reports scheduled to deliver data to an SFTP or email domain which is not owned by ‘the client’ (as determined by the legal entity on the order form on the Software contract)), if we determine that you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy.

Amendments

We may modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Your continued use of the Software after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
