The DORMERO Group uses IDeaS Revenue Management System (RMS) in all of their hotels and its integration with their property management system and channel manager allows them to centrally manage rates and automatically update all integrated channels within minutes, multiple times a day. Empowered by this technology, the enhanced revenue management is delivering positive impacts on the group’s financial results. This technology has made it easy to communicate pricing strategies across the whole group, guaranteeing a consistent approach to all enquiries and removing any guesswork at the individual hotels.
“With the system in place for more than three years, we are more than happy with its decisions and the resulting revenue increase. The best example would be how we had optimised transient business using IDeaS and achieved an additional revenue uplift of six percent in the first six months in all 12 hotels,” said Max Herbst, director of revenue management for DORMERO.
